What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect your name, chosen reply channel, contact detail, optional notes, and the model file you send.
Private model storage
Your single STL, 3MF, or OBJ file is stored in a private object bucket for the operator to review. The database stores the request details and a storage key, not the file bytes. Files are scheduled for automatic deletion after 45 days.
Operator access
Operators receive a notification without a file attachment. The file is opened through a short-lived, signed download link. Request references and links are not intended to be shared publicly.
Protection and logs
The intake uses same-origin requests, bot verification, rate limits, bounded fields, and upload checks. Operational logs should contain safe error categories only; they must not contain your contact details, model contents, or signed download URLs.
Deletion requests
To ask for earlier deletion, contact PrintYa through the channel used for your enquiry and include your reference. We will remove the request and file where legally and operationally possible.
